- Less talk about epistemology and objectivity. It's not as stimulating for non-philosopher
- Texts need to be divided into essentials and optional. Some of them are less engaging and relevant.
- In general, less abstract teaching is needed. It is also too surface-level. Students with knowledge of the subject will find it uninteresting, new students will only be given basic knowledge. If you must go abstract, go in-depth
- Discussions should be less abstract. Lecturers should link the concepts and ideas they explore to their research and their research areas, as a way of illustrating them and render those concepts more engaging and concrete. It also allows students to learn and discover new things.
- Ground the teaching in the experience of the teachers. The most engaging parts of the lectures were the ones closer to the specialisations of the teachers, rather than the one where they repeat ans summarise other people's work.
